Niall McClean has been playing the fiddle from the age of ten. He has won many prestigious awards at both solo and group level,including North America CMA International Award in Gatlinburg for best band with " The Cattle Company ".

He has represented his own County of Down at Ulster and All Ireland level on several occasions and has played all over the world, especially in Europe and The USA making a recent appearance at the world dance festival in Holland.

Niall has a wealth of experience at both traditional and classical level having toured Americe twice with the famous " Thre Irish Tenors " where he played some of their most renowed theatres.

He has recently shared the same stage as the legendary Donal Lunny and Planxty at on of Holland's largest celtic festivals.

Niall writes his own music, some of which is included on this album. He has just recently finished recording a series for RTÉ where some of his own compositions were used.
